Well so as you know my brother had a motorcycle accident 2 weeks ago and he is still in the hospital he is now just aiting on the insurance to approve the rehab facility... but if they take any longer he will probably heal incorrectly and they will need to do surgery again. But it is what it is! So anyway i was supposed to go to knoxville to help care for ryan last saturday (that did not happen) but befor i left i knew i needed to get Jaxon in to the MD to check on what i thought was a yeast infection, after h visit with Dr. Tam on Friday we found out that he had blood in his urine, and they classified it as a UTI. Boys do not typically get UTI's so she sent his urine off to the lab for a culture, and she started him on antibiotics twice daily for 10 days.
On tuesday Dr Tam called me and told me that he would need some further test run, so on Thursday the 24 we are going to have an ultrasound and a dye test done to check his anatomy and to see if he has reflux in his kidneys.
So here is where it gets interesting... both my dad and I have 3 kidneys 2 functioning and one non functioning, and we both had surgery to "redo our plumming" move our ureters rom the non functioning kidney to the functioning ones. we both had reflux, so now i am concerned that Jaxon has the same issue. I know that my surgery was 20 years ago but all i remember is being in the hospital for a while and i continue to have kidney infections to this day. so my prayer is that If Jaxon needs surgery that it would be an easy proceedure, and thatwe could afford it. Please pray for our little fellow, he has been pretty canky lately and with Aleks getting off at 8 every night this week i have not had much relief.

This baby of ours is the most wonderful blessing. i want to spend every minute with him that i can possibly have(when he is happy, lol) Today we went to the Delta Fair and it was warm with a descent breeze but it was rediculously humid so Jaxon was just sweating to death so what did mama do? .... i pulled the redneck card and took his shirt off, so here is my sweet baby strolling around the fair with sweat making his hair stand up in a mohawk and no shirt, Super Classy. any way when us adults completed our embarrasing display of devouring every fried morsel available we decided to go in to the building and cool off, well when we got in there we put Jax clothes back on and he got out of the stroller and walked around., not only did he walk but he danced for all the ladies, and he clapped for them, he was a real ham.
We went to the fair with our friends Wes and Liby and their baby girl Kate (i watch Kate during the week) Jaxon and Kate are good buddies and they played well together today. We all had a great time and devoured some good food. at the agricenter!!!
Ryan update
HE WALKED!!!!!!!!! praise the LORD he walked today (friday 9/11) he took several steps and sat in his chair, he sounded great today, he had high spirits and seemed to be feeling better. What we know right now is that he will be going to a rehab facility either in Jonesboro Arkansas (that is where my mom lives) or in Memphis once he gets through rehab and is healed significantly he will go back to Knoxville.

Updates on Ryan:
On Friday night 09/04/2009 Ryan had a motorcycle accident, he was following Megan(his girlfriend) to her house and she was about 1 mile ahead of him, and as he crossed a bridge he lost control of the bike and crashed. Megan called me about 10:00 and asked if i was sitting down, and proceeded to tell me about the accident she said Ryan thinks he broke his pelvis. well he would be correct, after he arrived at the hospital and had tons of x rays and after what seemed like forever they finally confirmed that he had multiple fractures in his pelvis, and right hip as well as where the Femur fits in the hip socket he had multiple fractures there as well. and they would schedule surgery for Tuesday 9/8/09
Over the weekend Ryan was in tremendous pain but they kept him well medicated, and they scheduled his surgery for tuesday mid afternoon.
Tuesday 9/8/09
Ryan went in for surgery about 1:40 his time (he lives in knoxville) and they placed pins and plates to repair his hip and some of the fractures, the surgery took about 3 hours. After surgery he was in recovery for a while and spent the rest of the evening trying to control pain. (this was not an easy task) Ryan was pretty uncomfortable most of the night.
Today 9/9/09 the physical therapist came in this morning and worked with him to try to get him to walk 2 steps to a chair, she worked with him for about 45 min. He was in such excruciating pain they decided to wait till tomorrow to try.
Prayers:
Please pray for him to be able to take those steps tomorrow without pain.
Please pray for God to heal his body completely and that he would not develop arthritis.
Please pray that his family would know when to be there and when to back off so he does not get frustrated with us.
Please pray for a quick recovery
Please pray for finances through his healing.
Please pray for a sound frame of mind for all of us, that good decisions would be made with wise council from the lord.
